2 (150 g) medium kiwi, peeled

1 (230 g) large ripe pear

1 tablespoon (15 mL) key lime juice

2 tablespoons sugar (optional)

1/4 cup (60 mL) water

1 cup (240 mL) ice

Place all ingredients in Vita-Mix container in order listed. Secure two-part lid. Select VARIABLE, speed #1. Turn on machine and quickly increase speed to #10; then to HIGH. Run for 30 seconds or until smooth. Serve immediately.
