Key Lime Kiwi Smoothie

| 2 (150 g) medium kiwi, peeled |
| 1 (230 g) large ripe pear |
| 1 tablespoon (15 mL) key lime juice |
| 2 tablespoons sugar (optional) |
| 1/4 cup (60 mL) water |
| 1 cup (240 mL) ice |

| Place all ingredients in Vita-Mix container in order listed. Secure two-part lid. Select VARIABLE, speed #1. Turn on machine and quickly increase speed to #10; then to HIGH. Run for 30 seconds or until smooth. Serve immediately. |
