Lemon-Lime Sport Drink

Yield: 2 cups




Ingredients

1/2 lemon, peeled
1/4 lime, peeled
3 dates
2 cups water (or coconut water)
1 tablespoon agave nectar
1 tablespoon coconut oil
pinch of sea salt
 
In a Vita-Mix, combine all ingredients in the order listed. Secure 2 part lid. Select Variable,speed #1. Turn on machine and quickly increase to #10; then to High. Run for 2 minutes. Chill until ready to use.

Some settling may occur, so re-blend before drinking.

* Variation: To give it a stronger lemon / lime flavor, keep a small portion of the peel on.
