Cinnapple Syrup

Yield: 1 1/4 cup (300 mL)

1/4 cup (60 mL) apple juice

3 cups apples, fresh

3/4 cup sugar or other sweetener

2 teaspoons lemon juice

1 tablespoon tiny cinnamon (imperials) candies

Place all ingredients in Vita-Mix container in order listed. Secure 2-part lid. Select VARIABLE, speed #1. Turn on machine and quickly increase speed to #10; then to HIGH. Run for 3 to 4 minutes or until smooth and hot. Use warm or cold over vanilla ice cream, pancakes or as a garnish for apple pie.
